Ruth F. (Conant) Lipper, 104 years of Stoughton died Sunday April 27, 2008 at the Copley at Stoughton. She was the wife of the late George P. Lipper. Born in Ipswich, the daughter of the late Herbert and Jeanette (Prosper) Conant, Mrs. Lipper moved to West Bridgewater as a child and had resided in Brockton for over 50 years. She had worked as a stitcher at Knapp Shoe Company in Brockton. She was previously a resident and president of Manning Towers in Brockton and enjoyed traveling.
She is survived by a daughter Ruth M. Mitchell of Stoughton, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, a sister Edna Ferbert of W. Bridgewater and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late George R. Lipper and Edward W. Lipper and sister of the late Arthur Conant, Esther Finnegan-Ahearn, Helen Richmond and John A. Conant.
Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 11am with visitation prior to the service 10-11am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
