Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 10 AM. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM.
Mr. Cataldo died Saturday morning at his home surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness. He was born in Brockton son of the late Carlos and Antonetta (Pagliarini) Cataldo and was a lifelong resident of Brockton.During WW II he served in the Army 643rd tank destroyer battalion in the European Theatre.
Before his retirement Mr. Cataldo was a concrete mason in local unions.He was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed bowling and was a member of the PM Seniors League and Powerlines team.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years.3 sons and 3 daughters12 grand children and 1 great granddaughterHe also leaves a brother Nicholas “Teddy” Cataldo of Bridgewater and several nieces and nephewsHe was the brother of the late Renaldo “Renny” Cataldo and Orlando “Lando” Cataldo
