PORT ST. LUCIE, FL-Christine (Daley) Cameron, 77, of Port St. Lucie, formerly of Worcester, died Thursday, April 17th in St. Lucie Medical Center. Her husband, Oswald Cameron, died in 2006. She leaves a son, John Cameron of Worcester; four daughters, Carmen Boothe of Worcester, Angela Cameron of Forth Worth, TX, Althea Cameron of Weymouth, Chloe Cameron of Worcester and a step-daughter Pearletta Cameron of England; six brothers and nine sisters; her son-in-law Brams Young of Worcester; 18 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. Her daughter, Shannon Young died in 1989.
She was born in Jamaica, the daughter of Hubert and Alice (Ramsey) Daley. Mrs. Cameron was employed by Worcester State Hospital for six years as a cook.
The funeral is Friday, April 25th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a service at 1:00 PM in All Saints Church, 10 Irving Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM in the funeral home. oconnorbrothers.com
