Obituary

North Attleboro—Warren O. Davis 60, of Lake Shore Dr., and a former Franklin resident, died Tuesday April 22, 2008 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the husband of Susan J. (Ball) Davis.
Born in Norwood, February 26, 1948 a son of the late Warren P. and Maria (Knieps) Davis, he was raised and educated in Wrentham, and was a 1966 graduate of King Philip High School.
Mr. Davis retired in 2005 from the Wrentham State School as a supervisor where he had worked for 35 years.
He served in the US Navy during the Viet-Nam War. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Viet Nam Service Medal with 1 Bronze Star, the Viet Nam Campaign Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged in December 1970.
He was a member of Bristol Lodge AF & AM in North Attleboro.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 35 years are two brothers Edward Davis of Wrentham, John Davis and his wife Betty of Whitman, a sister in law Cynthia A. Wyman and her husband Steve of Colorado.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Friday evening at 7:30PM in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, (www.franklinfuneral.com).
