ANDERSON, SC: Llewellyn T. Hazelton, 95, of Anderson, SC and formerly of Raymond, NH, died Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the R.M. Campbell Veterans Center in Anderson. Mr. Hazelton was born in Chester, NH on February 27, 1913, a son of Philip G. and Blanche (Nichols) Hazelton. Mr. Hazelton retired from the US Air Force after 22 years of service and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Hazelton was a member of the American Legion in S.C.
Mr. Hazelton is survived by a brother John Hazelton and his wife Janice of Troy, NH; one nephew J. Scott Hazelton and his wife Susan of Westford, MA; one niece Janet Hazelton of Proctor, VT; two grandnephews and one grandniece. He was the brother of the late Lois B. Hazelton.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26th at 3:00 PM at Village Cemetery in Chester. There are no calling hours. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St. in Derry, NH is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chester Congregational Baptist Church, PO Box 306, Chester, NH 03036.
