METHUEN – Gene F. Wesinger, Sr., 67 of Methuen and formerly of Arlington, MA died Friday April 18, 2008 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Born and educated in Arlington, MA where he was a longtime resident, he was a graduate of Arlington High School. He was employed with MIT Lincoln Labs. In Lexington, MA. He was a member of the Woburn Sportsman club in Bedford, loved fishing, bowling, hunting, playing cards and spending time with his grandchildren and with his many friends.
He leaves his wife of 47 years, Judith A. (Stephens) Wesinger of Methuen.
Daughter Wendy A. Adams and her husband Daniel of Methuen.
2 brothers Charles Wesinger and his wife Carol of Wakefield, and Ralph Wesinger and his wife Kay of North Carolina.
1 sister Audrey Mari of Florida.
5 grandchildren Ashley J. Adams, Ryan D. Adams, Christopher Wesinger, Andrew Wesinger and Stacey Wesinger.
Sisters-in-law Rose and Brenda Wesinger.
Several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Gene was also the father of the late Gene F. Wesinger, Jr., and the brother of the late Jimmy and Lenny Wesinger.
ARRANGEMENTS: In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701-9376 or the National Kidney Foundation 85 Astor Ave., Ste. 2 Norwood, MA 02062. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date at the families convenience.
