Funeral services for Mary Smith Page, 69, of Ashburn will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 4:00 P.M. at the Ashburn First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Page died Sunday at her residence following a sudden illness.
Mrs. Page was born in Turner County and was the daughter of the late Bullock & Lucy O’Neal Smith. She was retired from the Turner County Board of Education where she worked as a Para Professional. She was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church. She enjoyed working with children at Church and with the Red Cross Blood Drives.
She is survived by one son Michael (Belinda) Page of Rochelle, Ga., two daughters, Caroline (Ras) Smith of Sycamore, Ga. and Mary Anne (Jeff) Jackson of Tifton, Ga. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Dustin (Kim) Smith, Ft. Bragg, N.C., Chase Page, Chance Jackson, both of Tifton, Ga. and Kelli Page, Hunter Page, both of Rochelle, Ga. She is also survived by one brother, Wyatt Smith, Doerun, Ga.; four sisters, Faye West, Ashburn, Ga., Joannie Thomas, Norman Park, Ga., Bonnie Davis, Warwick, Ga. and Amyee Blaine, Ashburn, Ga. and several very special nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00-8;00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
