Anna (Kula) Letendre, 98, of Manchester died April 20, 2008 at her residence after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester on April 2, 1910, she was the daughter of Andrew and Jozefa (Kula) Kula. She attended Youngsville School and was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Mrs. Letendre worked at Massabesic Shoe Company, Salvage Shoe Company and Dorsen Fletcher Shoe Company until each had closed. She was a former president of the Auburn Senior Citizens Club.
She was married 50 years to Camille Letendre who died in 1993.
IN HER LIFE: The family includes a daughter, Celia Stone of Manchester; four grandchildren, Stephen Stone of Amherst and Eric Stone, Laurie Stoddard and Brian Stone all of Manchester; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Benjamin Kula of Manchester and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Matthew Kula and Edward Kula, and by her sisters, Cecilia Pelillo and Blanche Gurall.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday April 25, 2008 at St. Peter Church, 567 Manchester Rd., Auburn. Graveside committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
