ANN M. (SNOWDON) CHARPENTIER, age 82, of Hanson, died on Wednesday, April 16th, 2008 at the Golden Living Nursing Center in Cohasset. Mrs. Charpentier was born in Rockport, New Brunswick, Canada and spent her early life in Everett, MA, graduating from Everett High School. She was a resident of Hanson for over 50 years and was an active member of the community. For many years she was a secretary for several food supply firms in the area, most recently with Hall-Smith SYSCO. She retired in the mid 1980's.
Wife of the late Arthur Charpentier, she was the sister of Harris R. Snowdon and his wife Amy of Pawling, NY, Alton G. Snowdon and his wife Dorothy of Hingham, William O. Snowdon, Jr. and his wife Beverly of Saugus and Dale H. Snowdon and his wife Mary of Newburyport, MA. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews.
A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, April 26th at 1 PM at the First Baptist Church, 85 Main St., Hingham.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the charity of choice. The interment is private.
