Margaret Adams Leeming died on April 18, 2008, after a brief illness.
Margaret was born on Dece. 8, 1912, the daughter of Ralph Howard Reeder and Emilie Adams Reese Reeder of Bordentown, N.J.
She was married to the late Rev. Frank Clifford Leeming, founder and headmaster of St. Peter's School in Peekskill, N.Y. In her later years Margaret lived in Stonington, Conn., and Wellesley, Mass. Most recently she was a resident at Academy Point in Mystic.
Margaret was an avid gardener, cook, painter, and world traveler. Most of all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her four children, Michael Newbold Leeming and Nicholas Reese Leeming of Tucson, Ariz., David Adams Leeming of New York City, and Mary Louise Emilie Moore of Eastham, Mass.; and by five grandchildren, Margaret, Juliet, and Paul Leeming, and Amy and Neal Higgins; and by three great-grandchildren, Morgan, Ashley, and Brooklyn.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, at Calvary Church, 27 Church St., Stonington. The burial will be on Thursday, April 24, at Christ Episcopal Church Cemetery in Bordentown, N.J.
