Theresa A. (Cunningham) (Bina) Borden, 81, died Sunday in the Brockton Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph L. Bina and William E Borden. She was born and raised in Boston, daughter of the late George and Edith (Gregory) Cunningham. Theresa worked as a hostess for several years. She also lived in Quincy before becoming a resident of Whitman and a member of the Holy Ghost Church for the last 20 years. She enjoyed bingo and traveling.
She is survived by her son, Joseph H. Bina and his wife Judith of Hanson, her daughter, Theresa Sullivan of Attleboro, her sister Dorothy Petrilli of Norwell; her step sons, Steven Borden of Georgia, John Borden of Florida and William Borden, Jr. of East Bridgewater,: also 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Marie E. Bina.
Her services will be held on April 23rd at 9:15am from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (RT 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman, followed by a funeral mass in the Holy Ghost Church at 10am. Burial will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 22nd from 4 to 8pm.
