Caroline B. D’AMICO, 65, of Blackinton Drive, died Friday, April 18, 2008 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. She was the beloved wife of Peter J. D’Amico.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John and Carolina (Hopp) Cullinane. She had lived in Chepachet for the past 42 years, previously living in Providence. She loved to travel and explore the world with her husband. She was an avid gardener.
Mrs. D’Amico had been a Teacher at North Providence High School before retiring in 2005. She had taught Astronomy and Physics. Her enthusiasm for her students to learn in the classroom was what excited and energized her to come to school and teach each and every day.
Besides her husband she leaves, 2 daughters, Ellen Fox of West Warwick and Beth D’Amico of North Port, FL, a sister, Peg Williams of North Scituate and a granddaughter, Hannah Rose Fox and a grandson who is expected shortly. She was the sister of the late Ann Powers.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:30am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Smithfield.
