Frances R. (Cutrafello) DiCarlo, of Medford, died peacefully Friday afternoon at her Medford home surrounded by her loving family. She was 86.
Frances was born and raised in Boston’s West End, the daughter of the late Peter and the late Mary (Briguglio) Cutrafello. A Medford resident for 66 years, Frances was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She found great satisfaction cooking, baking, and sewing. Over the years she enjoyed vacations on the Cape with family and friends.
She was the beloved wife of the late Michael DiCarlo. She was a devoted mother to Angela Navetta and her husband Joseph of Medford. She was a loving grandmother to Joseph Navetta and his wife Emily, Marianne Tompkins and her husband Patrick, Michael Navetta and his wife Michelle. She was a loving great-grandmother to Benjamin, Mitchell, Daniel, Allison, Ari and Peter. She was a dear sister to Josephine Cutrafello, Tina Spiriti, Pauline Assetta,Paul Cutrafello and the late Mary Vatalaro.
Her Funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Monday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
