Mary M. (Guido) Flanagan, age 87 of Medford, died Friday in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center of Boston following a brief illness.Mrs. Flanagan was born in Boston, MA, the daughter of the late Louis and the late Angela (Macaluso) Guido. She was a Medford resident for most of her life. She worked for many years as a sales representative for the Avon Cosmetic Co. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Mary´s memory to the Charity of your choice.
Mary is the beloved wife of the late William G. Flanagan and is survived by two children, Patricia Strobel and William "Liam" Flanagan both of Michigan. Three grandchildren Scott and Timothy Housley and Carma DelVendo. Four great grandchildren, Mark Boyd, Crystal, Shannon, and Benjamin Housley. She is also survived by one sister, Lena Mullin of No. Reading and is preceaded in death by two brothers, James and Salvatore Guido, and a sister, Gloria DiGangi.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Tuesday at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Sacred Heart Church 55 Winthrop St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
