Ruby S. Mobley, 91, of Irwin County died Thursday, April 17 at the Osceola Nursing Home in Ocilla.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM on Saturday, April 19 at the Ocilla Church Of God with Rev. Clayton Dowd and Rev. Gene Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Friday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. Mobley was born August 12, 1916, in Irwin County to the late Lonnie M. and Alice McDaniel Smith. She was a homemaker and a farm wife who lived in the Irwin County community most of her life. Mrs. Mobley attended the Ocilla Church Of God.
Mrs. Mobley is survived by two sisters, Lola Mae McGee of Fitzgerald and Annette (Gene) Griffin of Byron as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry “Bill” Mobley, three brothers and two sisters.
