DRACUT, MA– Beatrice Cecile (Lussier) Beaudry, 91, a Dracut resident who had formerly worked at Raytheon and Western Electric, died Tuesday, April 15, at the Fairhaven Nursing Care Center in Lowell after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Henry V. Beaudry, who died in 1981.
She was born in Lowell on May 7, 1916, a daughter of the late Alfred and Angeline (Veillette) Lussier, and attended local schools.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Beaudry worked as an assembler and inspector at Raytheon and Western Electric in Andover for 30 Years.
Mrs. Beaudry was a communicant of St. Marguerite D’Youville Parish of Dracut.
During her leisure time she enjoyed baking, gardening, bingo, pokeno, crochet, knitting and macramé. During her later years she came to enjoy watching sports.
Mrs. Beaudry is survived by one daughter, Therese Landry of Dracut, MA; six sons, Henry Beaudry and his wife Elizabeth of Franklin, NH; Robert Beaudry and his wife Gloria of Newbury, NH; Roland Beaudry and his wife Sharon of Lowell, MA; Normand Beaudry and his wife Celine of Dracut, MA; Raymond Beaudry, Dracut, MA; Ralph Beaudry, Dracut, MA; a brother, Roland Lussier and his wife Lisa of Lantana, FL; 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Blanche Daunais, Anita Maille, Florence Pollard, Irene Lussier, Rita Lussier and grandmother and Godmother of the late Brenda Beatrice Beaudry.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Sunday from 2 until 6 PM. Her funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Monday at 8 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9 AM at St. Marguerite D’Youville Parish at St. Therese Church in Dracut. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford.
