Marion (Hiller) Swartz-Kimmelman, a resident of Greenville, S.C. & formerly of Winthrop entered into rest on April 13, 2008 at the Greenville Memorial Hospital. She was 91 years old & the wife of the late Max Kimmelman & the late Jack Swartz, & mother of the late Franklin Kimmelman.
Born in Patterson, N.J. the daughter of the late Samuel & Dorothy (Glickman) Hiller, Marion was raised in Patterson, N.J. where she also attended school. She was a graduate of Montclair College in N.J. Marion was a retired nurse, a member of the Sisterhood of Cong. Tifereth Israel of Everett, & a Girl Scout Troop Leader in Everett for 12 years.
Marion is survived by her grandchildren, Todd, Michael, & Susan, her nephews, Alan Roffman of FL & Dennis Roffman of N.H., & 6 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Theodore Hiller, Sally Roffman, Minna Gottlieb, Fran Dubin, & Shirley Epstein & the aunt of the late Gloria Harthiemer.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the Onikchty Society Cemetery, Rt. 99, Melrose/Saugus line. Donation's in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
