Rochester – Dwight C. McCombe, Sr., 76, of Rochester died suddenly at home on April 14, 2008. He was the former husband of Eileen G. (Days) McCombe.
Mr. McCombe was born in Rochester, son of the late William, Jr. and Marion B. (Sylvia) McCombe, and was a lifelong resident of the town. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. He worked as a self-employed truck driver until his retirement. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
Survivors include his daughter: Janet M. Faler and her husband Norman; his son: Dwight C. McCombe, Jr. and his wife Christine; a brother: Gary W. McCombe and his wife Loraine; 3 grandchildren: Addison C. Faler, Jennifer C. McCombe and Dwight C. McCombe III; and many nieces & nephews.
He was brother of the late Nate McCombe and Eben McCombe.
Funeral services will be private.
