Marie Cook Marie Cook, 66, Clarksville, died Thursday, April 10, 2008, at her residence after a long battle with cancer. The funeral will be held at 2 pm Sunday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. John Hester officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 pm Saturday and from noon until the hour of the service Sunday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born August 2, 1941 in Montgomery County daughter of George Wallace Hogue and Gurtha Waynick Hogue. She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church. Mrs. Cook was a beautician for over 40 years and most recently worked at Jewell's Styling Salon. She enjoyed and appreciated her many clients and friends. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her mother, her husband, Harold Cook; a son, Wayne Cook; a daughter, Debbie Chandler (Mark); a sister, Linda Stallard (Mike), five grandchildren, and one soon-to-be great grandchild. The family dog, Remmington, also survives. Pallbearers will be Jesse Chandler, John Griffith, Brian Heaton, Carl Heaton, Price Hopson, and Larry McClean. Honorary pallbearer will be Carl Adcox.
