Willie L. Holt, 81, of Fitzgerald died Thursday, April 10, 2008 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM on Saturday, April 12 at Crossview Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Gordon officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Friday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Ms. Holt was born November 7, 1926 in Berrien County to the late Mark and Mary O’Neal Luke. She was a homemaker and lived in the community since 1954. Ms. Holt was a member of Crossview Baptist Church, the Seekers Sunday School Class and the Golden Believers.
She is survived by a daughter, Debbie Roberts of Fitzgerald; sons and daughters-in-law, Tim & Cindy Burch of Fitzgerald and Brian & Heather Owens of Hawkinsville; 2 grandchildren, Carla Roberts and Michael Owens; 4 great grandchildren, Royce Owens, Taylor Burch, Belle Owens and Carlee Burch. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Billy Eason and John S. Owens, Jr., daughters, Glenda Eason and Gloria Walker and a son, Mike Owens.
