Goldie (Abrams) Brower, a lifelong resident of Revere, entered into rest on April 9, 2008 at the Beth Israel – Deaconess Medical Center. She was 97 years old.
Born in Boston, the daughter of the late Harry & Etta (Ginsberg) Abramovitz, Mrs. Brower was educated in the Revere Schools graduating from Revere High School. She was devoted to her family & enjoyed knitting & crocheting. She was a member of B'Nai B'Rith.
Wife of the late Bertram Brower & mother of the late Jacqueline Brower Greenberg & the late Harvey Brower, she is survived by her grandchildren, Howie Greenberg of Revere, Robert Greenberg of Winthrop, David Greenberg of Foxboro, Sharon Charloff of Medway, Nicole Brower of Derry, N.H., & Jonathan Brower of Revere. She was the cherished great-grandmother of Jacqueline, Eric, Joshua, Alison, Andrew, Samantha, Mollie, Annmarie, Antonia, Emma,David, & the late Jacob. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, & great-nephews. She was the sister of the late Benjamin, Julius, Jack, Bessie, Abe, & Nathan.
Graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 12:00 Noon in the Tifereth Israel of Revere Cemetery, 232 Fuller St. Everett, MA 02149. Rabbi Frank Waldorf, Rabbi Emeritus of Temple Sinai will officiate. Memorial observance will be held at Mrs. Brower's late residence, 45 Dolphin Ave. Revere on Sunday, April 13, 2008.
