Florence Mobley Betts, 92, of Tallahassee, FL, died Monday, April 7, 2008, in Tallahassee.
Graveside services will be held 12 Noon, Friday, April 11 at Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Irwin County.
Born the youngest of ten children on March 9, 1916 in Alapaha to the late Marcus and Christian Mobley, she lived in Tallahassee, Florida since 1967 and was a former resident of Georgia and South Carolina. She was the widow of George Huson Betts. Mrs. Betts worked as assistant manager at Kennerly’s Prescription Center, later to become White’s Pharmacy for many years.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Charles H. & Patty Betts of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Kelly L. Betts of St. Petersburg, FL and Marcus A. Betts of Tallahassee, FL.
