Frances C. Lariviere, 83, of Central St., Millville, formerly of Village Rd., Woonsocket, died Tuesday at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Harvey F. Lariviere.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Aime and Adele (Lizotte) Morin. She was a lifelong resident of Woonsocket.
From the 1940s to the 1960s, Mrs. Lariviere worked with her late father at the family store, Morin’s Variety, at the corner of Bernon and Grove St. She also worked as a clerk for Baram’s Curtain Shop in Woonsocket for several years, before retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Royal Travelers.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan Salisbury, and her husband John, of Millville, a granddaughter, Tracy Salisbury, of Waltham, MA. She was the sister of Richard Morin, and Claire Lemoine, both of Woonsocket, and the late Philippe Morin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be Saturday at 9:00 am from the Menard Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave. Woonsocket.
