Delina Y. Proulx, 92, died Monday at Mt. St. Rita Health Center in Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Albert N. Proulx.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Delphis and Emma (Gagnon) Bacon. She was raised in Woonsocket and Blackstone and resided in Warren for over 35 years, before returning to the Woonsocket area.
Mrs. Proulx worked for the Well Made Dress Shop in Warren for many years. She was a longtime communicant of St. Paul’s Church, and was a member of the Sacred Heart Club.
She is survived by a sister, Rita Lamoureux, of Woonsocket, several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was the sister of the late Victor, Louis, and Emile Bacon, Irene Millette, and Helen Ouellette.
Her funeral will be Friday at 9:00 am from the Menard Funeral Home,
127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at
10:00 am in St. Paul’s Church, Blackstone. Burial will follow in St. Jean
Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are Thursday from 5-8 pm.
