Sr. Mary Victor Spaeti, CDP, Sister of Divine Providence, of Kingston, died Apr. 7 at the Jordan Hospital. She was 92..She entered the Sisters of Divine Providence in 1932, and celebrated her 75th Jubilee. Her places of ministry were in Pittsburgh, Puerto Rico, Sacred Heart High School, Kingston, Principal and teacher at the St. Joan of Arc School, Orleans, MA, Principal at the St. Cecilia School in Stamford, CT, Principal at the St. Francis Xavier School in S. Weymouth, Member of the General Assembly Administration in Rome, Italy, and recently a teacher at the Sacred Heart High School, Family Assistance, and volunteer in the Library at Sacred Heart High School.She was also a member of the Provincial Council in the 1960’s. She was the sister of the late Victoria Semple. She is survived by her sisters in the community. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thurs. Apr.10 at Sacred Heart High School, 399 Bishops Highway, Kingston at 2:30PM. Interment in Our Lady of Divine Providence Cemetery, Kingston . Visiting hours on Wed. at the Providence House, 363 Bishops Highway, Kingston from 2-5 and 6-8PM, with a Prayer Service at 7:30PM.
