Susan Levandowski Brown, age 56, of Stephen Drive, Stonington, formerly of Mystic, passed away unexpectedly on Monday at The Westerly Hospital.
Mrs. Brown was born in Meriden on July 27, 1951 the daughter of Olga (Kirychuk) Levandowski of Waterbury and the late Zigmunt Levandowski. Raised in Meriden, she attended local schools and was a 1969 graduate of Wilcox Vocational Technical school.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a quality control technician at the Mystic Color Lab.
She was married to Maurice Q. "Moe" Brown in Newfields, NH on October 2, 1981. Mr. Brown died May 25, 1998. She is survived by two sisters, Teresa Bond of Stratham, NH and Carol Rinaldi of Watertown, CT; a niece, Denise Acker of Kingston, RI; and her best friend, Don Galuza of Westerly.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Friday at 1pm. The Rev. Doretta M. Colburn will officiate. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic. There are no visiting hours.
