Obituary

Morris Edward White was born August 12, 1955 in Gould, Arkansas to the union of the late Kayron White, Sr. and Clara White-Booker. He departed this life on April 5, 2008. He was preceded in death by two brothers Roytess and Derrick Fitzgerald and three sisters, Evon, Linda Carol and Ernestine.

Morris confessed hope in Christ at an early age and later joined Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where he served as Male Chorus Director, on the Sound System, Layman, Watch Care and Homeless Ministries, he was also an ordained Deacon.

While serving in the United States Army, Morris was stationed in Germany. He was later reassigned to Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama where he met his loving wife, Emily Burton.

Morris attended public schools in Arkansas and began secondary studies at the University of Arkansas. He later completed his studies at Alabama A & M University in Normal, Alabama.

Morris, a devoted and loving husband and father, leaves to cherish his memory, a loving wife Emily; two sons, Brian Terrell Ball and Morris Kayron White all of Huntsville, AL; two grandchildren Artrez Terrell and Faith Michelle; six sisters, Mildred Crutchfield of California, Rosemary Shaw, Mary (Sherman) Turner, Martha (Randy) Herrod, Leatrica White, Jeanetta (Damon) Kellam, all of Detroit, MI; five brothers; Kayron White, Jr., Clarence (Deanna) White of Detroit, MI, Elijah (Joyce)White of Pontiac, MI, Loran White of Tacoma, Washington, Fredrick White of Detroit, MI; four aunts, Della Mae Denmon of Flint, MI, Clemontine Murray of Chicago, IL, Alma Mallet and Geneva Pickett of Dumas, Arkansas; a devoted and loving mother-in-law, Hattie Burton, one sister-in-law, Sylvia (Robert)Ford of St. Louis, MO; three brothers-in-law, Lawrence (Stephanie) Burton, Donnie Burton and Geoffrey (Annie) Burton all of Huntsville, AL,; one god-son Leonard Robinson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Morris Edward White (Maurice)will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday from the Union Chapel M. B. Church with Pastor O. Wendell Davis officiating. Interment will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens. The remains of Mr. White will be in the church one hour prior to funeral time.
