PLAISTOW, NH: Franklin “Frank” M. Reed, 50, died Monday, April 7, at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. He was the husband of Roberta M. (Ovitt) Reed. Mr. Reed was born on December 31, 1957 in Cambridge, MA, a son of Melvin F. and Barbara (Hardy) Reed. Mr. Reed had resided in Plaistow for 10 years, prior to that had lived in Methuen, MA and Derry, NH. Mr. Reed was a supervisor for europackaging in Salem, NH, and was an acolyte at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Lynn, MA.
Besides his wife of 14 years, Roberta, Mr. Reed is survived by his mother Barbara Reed of Derry; one son, Dale Pellerin and his wife Kim, of Methuen, MA, two daughters, Rebecca Pellerin and her fiancée Michael DeBoisbriand of Methuen, MA, BethAnn Pellerin of Plaistow, NH; one sister, Sheila Batchelder of Wakefield, MA. Mr. Reed is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Reed was pre deceased by his father Melvin Reed and a brother Garrett Cunningham.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation a memorial service will be held Saturday, May 3rd at 1 PM at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 5 Bryant Street in Wakefield, MA. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St. Derry is handling the arrangements.
