Salvatore Calascibetta, 81 of Somerville formerly of the North End of Boston died Friday after a brief illness in the Massachusetts General Hospital Boston, MA.Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Joseph and Vincenza (Vecchio) Calascibetta.
Salvatore was the owner of the former O.K. Barber Shop on Commercial St. in Boston’s North End for many years.
Beloved husband of Silvana (D’Angelica). Devoted father of Josephine Migliore of Malden, Frank of New Hampshire, Silvana of Maine, and Joseph of Billerica. Also survived by 5 loving grandchildren and 4 loving great grandchildren.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 12 Properzi Way, Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
