Obituary

WORCESTER____Henryk Ciszewski, 61, of Worcester, was pronounced dead on Friday April 4, 2008 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, 55 Lake Avenue North after an industrial accident at work.

He leaves his wife of 38 years, Genowefa (Swiderska) Ciszewski, four children, twins Bogdan Ciszewski and his wife Elzbieta of Worcester and Iwona Gaska and her husband Krzysztof of Dudley; Marzena Socha and her husband Marek of South Hadley and Natasha Ciszewski of Worcester; six grandchildren, Jacob, Lukasz, Monika, Derek, Veronica and Liliana, two brothers, Boleslaw and Zygmunt and three sisters, Genowefa, Janina and Czeslawa all of Poland. He is also survived by his in-laws and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Czeslaw and a sister, Leokadia. He was born and raised in Poland, a son of Jan and Anna (Kretunska) Ciszewski. He served in the Polish military and came to the United States in 1982.

Mr. Ciszewski worked 26 years for National Envelope Company. He worked in the cutting dept. and as a fork lift operator. He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.

The funeral will be held on Saturday April 12, 2008 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Friday April 11, 2008 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
