Obituary

Leo F. Wall 86, died Sunday April 6th. He was the beloved husband of 53 years to Marjorie (Balcam) Wall.

Born in Cambridge and raised in Somerville he was the son of the late Henry and Margaret (Frances) Wall. He was a graduate of Somerville High and Suffolk University.

Leo was a veteran of World War II having served from 1942-1945. He was a member of the Company D 798th Military Police Battalion, and earned among others an EAME Theater Ribbon with 4 Bronze Stars.

He worked for Bank Boston for 40 years and was a member of the Greater Boston Banker’s Assoc.

He was a communicant of the Holy Ghost Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

In addition to his beloved wife Marjorie he is survived by his children; Robert Wall and his wife Marylee of Holbrook, and Marjorie Gould and her husband Jonathan of Ct., his grandchildren Jason and Jenna Gould and Patrick Wall, his brother-in-law James Balcam and his wife Bette Jane, his sister-in-laws Helen Granger, and Evelyn and Margaret Wall, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Henry and James Wall.

His services will be held Thursday April 10th at 10:15 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman, followed by a funeral mass at 11 AM in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday April 9th from 4-8 PM. Donations may be made in his name to the charity of ones choice.
