Nicholas DiChiara Jr., age 54, of Revere, died unexpectedly Thursday morning in the Whidden Memorial Hospital, Everett. Mr. DiChiara was born in Winthrop, MA, the son of Carmen (Ruo) DiChiara of No. Reading and the late Nicholas DiChiara Sr.
He was a resident of Revere for the past fifteen years formerly of Medford. Nicholas was employed by the Boston Coach Co. Of Everett as a training coordinator for the past ten years. He was a past member and secretary of the Medford Kiwanis Club. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Nicholas´ memory to the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Oncology Project Fund, 170 Governors Ave, Medford, MA 02155. Nicholas is survived by six sons, Ptl. Nicholas DiChiara III, NAPD, of No. Andover, Ptl Charles DiChiara, WPD, of Waltham, Eric of Boston, Anthony, Joseph, Vincent DiChiara all of Revere and the late Scott DiChiara. Nicholas is also survived by two grandchildren, Nicole and Scott DiChiara. Brother of MPD Lt. Michael DiChiara and Ralph DiChiara both of No. Reading. Former husband of Lucille (Balliro) DiChiara of Revere. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Monday at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. James Church, 779 Fellsway, Medford at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude
