Obituary

LOWELL—Luz Castellano, 79 years old, died early Wednesday morning, February 19th, at Saints Memorial Medical Center, after a long illness. He was the husband of Felicita (Rodriguez) Castellano, who survives him.

He was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico, on August 29, 1924, a son of the late Bertha Castellano, and was educated in Puerto Rico.

Mr. Castellano was employed by the Municipal Parks Department in Puerto Rico. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

Surviving him besides his wife are his five children and their spouses: Daniel Roman; Angel M. and Elizabeth Roman; Maria Roman and Juan Quiroz; Angel and Virginia Gonzalez; and Marta Castellano, all of Lowell; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6 until 8 PM on Sunday, February 23rd, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street. (Rte. 38). His funeral service will be held Monday, February 24th, at 10 AM at the funeral home, to which relatives and friends are invited. Burial in the Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell.
