Reynolds, Linda Amy returned as Stardust to the Cosmos April 1st 2008 after a long valiant struggle with an intractable illness. Born in Bronx County on September 20, 1939. Linda received a BS in Social Science from Hunter College, Bronx, NY, a MS in Social Science from Fordham University, NYC. Linda interned in the Public School system of Newark, NJ. After receiving her degrees Linda was a caseworker and child advocate for the New York Foundling Hospital of the Archdiocese of New York, a senior caseworker, mentor, marriage counselor and advocate for those in need at the West Essex Social Agency in Caldwell and Livingston, NJ. Linda also worked for Allied Signal and retired from Hewlett Packard after many years of service. Linda is pre-deceased by her parents and her sister Patricia Reynolds RN. She leaves behind her dear and devoted sisters Irene of Teaneck and Virginia of Snomish, Washington State. Also five brothers and their families: Michael of Yonkers, NY, John of Newton and Teaneck, NJ, James of Virginia Beach, Va, Daniel of Martinez, Ca and Thomas of Brick, NJ. Linda was a loving Aunt of ten nephews and four nieces, twelve grand nieces and nephews, many loyal and cherished friends. Funeral service Monday 8:30AM from the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck, NJ then to St. Joseph’s RC Church, Bogota, for a 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at the George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus. Family and friends are invited to visit Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
