Obituary

Francis L.”MOE” Moquin, 76, died Tuesday April 1st in the V. A. Hospital, West Roxbury after a long Illness. He was the husband of Shirley (Freitas) Moquin of East Bridgewater. Born in Tewksbury, he was the son of the late Anna Edwards. Moe lived in East Bridgewater for many years, a retired Maintance Machinist for the Hersey Products of Dedham. He also worked for the Whitman News in Whitman for several years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War from 1952-1954.In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Scott Moquin and his wife Michelle of East Bridgewater, his daughters, Gail Woodbury of East Bridgewater and Frances Whitman and her husband Ralph of Plymouth; also 1 granddaughter and 2 grandsons.
Graveside services will be held Monday April 7th at 10:00AM, in the MA V.A. National Cemetery in Bourne .Procession will leave from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (RT 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman at 8:30AM.Visitation will be held on Sunday April 6th from 2:00-6:00PM.
