Jimmie Raye Stone, age 68, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2008 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. She was born in Bruce, MS to the late Erie and Bessie Kelley Miller. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
The visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Billy Childs, Rev. Billy Clyde Miller, & Dr. Joe Walker presiding. The committal will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS.
Mrs. Stone is survived by her husband, Bobby Stone, of Water Valley, MS; two daughters, Susan Hammond and Judy Miller both of Water Valley, MS; two sons, Mike Todd of Water Valley, MS and Billy Minor of Oxford, MS; a step-daughter Carla Stevens of Newburn, TN; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Clyde Horn; 2 brothers Verdo & Delane Miller; and a sister, Mary Hughes.
