Obituary

James T. Carbone, 81, died Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Southeast Rehabilitation in Easton. He was the husband of Dorothy (Gagnon) Carbone. Born in Boston, he was a graduate of Hyde Park High School and television repair school. Mr. Carbone became a manufacturer for the Northrop Corporation formerly of Norwood. Mr Carbone was a WWII veteran of the US Navy. After his retirement in 1992, he enjoyed gardening, fixing televisions, bowling and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed being around people and being considered a jack of all trades.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Dorothy Jean Smith of Brockton, Marilyn Leonard and her husband Butch Fernandes of North Dighton, James P. and his wife Heather of Braintree, Louise Stegnick and her husband David of Taunton and Paul and his wife Marylou of Naples, FL. Also survived by one brother and two sisters. Survived also by nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday at 10AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8PM.
