LOWELL - Donald L. Patterson, 80, a resident of Lowell, and formerly a resident of Dracut, died Sunday, March 30th 2008 at Saints Medical Center in Lowell. He was the loving husband of Dorothy E. (Garland) Patterson, with whom he was married for 52 years.
He was born on January 13th, 1928, in Lowell, the son of the late Ernest L. and the late Madeline (Wylie) Patterson. Mr. Patterson graduated from Dracut High School and earned his bachelor degree from Boston University.
Donald served in the United States Navy.
Mr. Patterson was a member of the Masons, Kilwinning Lodge in Lowell, MA.
He was also a member of Chirst Church United of Dracut.
Mr. Patterson was employed by the Bon Marche company where he worked as a buyer for many years. He also was employed by Purity Supreme Supermarket in Pelham, NH.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Dawn Marie Patterson of Brighton, MA.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT on Wednesday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM, with his funeral service to follow in the funeral home. Interment in Lowell Cemetery.
