Dorothy A. Sullivan, 70, of Randall Street, Greenville, a Secretary in the Psychology Department at Rhode Island College, died Monday, March 31, 2008. She was the widow of William F. Sullivan.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Edward P. and Madeline M. (Martin) McElroy, she had been a resident of Greenville since 1961.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah A. Fortier and her husband Leo of Greenville, her son William T. Sullivan and his wife Lynn, of Dedham, MA, her four grandchildren: Shannon, Lauren, Daniel and Kaitlin, two brothers James W. McElroy of Warwick, Robert J. McElroy of North Providence, and a sister Madeline M. Saunders of Providence. She was the sister of the late Edward McElroy.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:30am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-7pm.
