Priscilla A. (Cameron) Walsh, 87 years, died March 28, 2008. Wife of the late William E. Walsh and daughter of the late Frank and Mollie (Caulfield) Cameron, she was born and raised in Brockton. She attended Brockton High School and worked in many area restaurants. She began waitressing at the Capeway Manor restaurant in 1954 and remained there for 40 years during which she became a popular bartender known by many throughout the city. For a few summers she was the cook at Camp Yomechas in Middleborough, a job she took on with no experience but grew to love because of the kids. Priscilla enjoyed gardening and was a charter and longtime member of the AH Club of Brockton.
She is survived by four sons, William E. Jr. of St. Louis, MO, Thomas F. of Brockton, Peter A. of Tucson, AZ and J. Michael of Malden; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and was the grandmother of the late Amy (Walsh) Bee.
Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday at 11am. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Marion, MA. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8pm. The family wishes to thank the staff of Bridgewater Nursing Home for their kindness and care given to their mother over the past six years.
