WORCESTER__ Virginia D. “Ginny” (Renaud) Desabre, 65, of Worcester died Thursday March 27 in Autumn Village Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She leaves her son, Daniel Desabre, a granddaughter, Natasha Nault, of Worcester; her sisters, Beverly Bricault and her husband Ray of Millbury; Theresa Cherry-Dansereau and her husband Robert of Worcester; Donna Corlin and her husband Ken of Worcester; two brothers, James McGee and his wife Mary of Leicester and Joseph McGee of Worcester; her life long friend and caretaker, Marie Valente of Shrewsbury. She was predeceased by four brothers, Charles, Alfred, Robert and Roy Renaud. She was born in Worcester a daughter of the late Alfred and Leah (Marsden) McGee-Renaud.
Ginny was employed by the Marriott Hotel prior to retiring due to illness. Virginia enjoyed music and singing. She also took pleasure in fishing, crocheting and crafts. She was known for her sense of humor and could always have you laughing and smiling. She was a very giving person. Ginny will be sadly missed by all of her friends and relatives.
The funeral will be held on Monday March 31, 2008 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
