WORCESTER-Mary Catherine (Cassidy) Loughlin, 88, formerly of Eureka Street, died Wednesday, March 26th in Parsons Hill Nursing Center. Her husband of 45 years, David M. Loughlin, died in 1985. She leaves 3 daughters, Margaret M. Suchy of Port Orange, FL, Frances E. Bishop of Forsythe, MO, and Jean M. Santom of Worcester; a brother, Robert J. Cassidy of NY; a sister, Irene Stanikmas of Worcester; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, John B. Cassidy and 2 sisters, Doris M. Stuart and Elizabeth F. Cassidy.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of John and Margaret (Kelleher) Cassidy and lived here all her life. Mrs. Loughlin was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.
The funeral is Tuesday, April 1st from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, March 31st from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
