Brenda J. Dorden, 48, of Irwin County died Thursday, March 27, 2008, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, March 29, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Rev. Clayton Dowd officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Ms. Dorden was born June 27, 1959 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Isom Eugene and Mary Lizzie Hulett Lindsey. She was a 1974 graduate of Fitzgerald High School and attended Ben Hill-Irwin Technical College. Ms. Dorden was a Certified Nursing Assistant, a waitress and a cashier. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two sons, Kevin (Brandi) Bostick of Fitzgerald and Michael (Jennifer) Fields of Ocilla; grandchildren, Emely Bostick and Michelle Fields; sisters and brothers, Frances Womack of Jacksonville, FL, JoAnn Donley of McClenney, FL, Charles Womack and James Womack, both of Jacksonville, Fl and Eugene Lindsey of McClenney, FL, as well as several nieces and nephews.
