Amesbury, MA – Winifred (Hazeldine) Cossar, 85, died Wednesday March 26, 2008 at the Amesbury Village and Nursing Rehabilitation Center.
A long time Methuen resident she was born in England daughter of Edward and Margaret (Ashall) Hazeldine.
Winifred was a former resident of Methuen living on Pleasant Valley Street.
For 23 years she had been a Clerk for Admiral Folding Box of Methuen prior to her retirement.
Her greatest enjoyment was her family and grandchildren.
Winifred was a communicant of Saint Lucy’s Church in Methuen.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years Karl E. Cossar, children; Nancy E. and her husband George Scott of Salem, NH, two son’s and their wives Alan E. and Carrollin Cossar of Texas, and John “Barry” and Kathleen Cossar of Haverhill, MA. 6 grandchildren 4 greatgrandchildren and one sister living in England as well as several nieces and nephews.
Winifred was predeceased by her son Stephen.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday morning at 10:30 A.M.in Saint Lucy’s Church with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 3-7 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
