Obituary

Leon Pawlowski, 90, of Medway, died, Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. He was the husband of Helena (Wnek) Pawlowski since 1946.

Born in Kozlowo, Poland on March 7, 1918, he was a son of the late Norbert and Pelagia (Koszuta) Pawlowski. Mr. Pawlowski immigrated to the United States in 1950 and has resided in Medway since.

Mr. Pawlowski was a sergeant in the Polish Army during WWII. Following the war, he served the Allied Forces as a military policeman for 3 years in Germany.

Retiring in 1986, Mr. Pawlowski had worked at Clark Cutler McDermott in Franklin for 23 years.

He enjoyed carpentry and gardening.

Besides his wife, he is survived by; four children, Danita Scribner and her fiancé, Peter Squiers of Chatham, Charlie Pawlowski of Medway, Lily Bosse and her husband, Roland of Medway and Christina Gallagher and her husband, William of Franklin.

He is also survived by two grandchildren, Keith Bosse and his wife, Dawn and Edward Bosse and his wife, Kathleen, both of Medway and two great-grandchildren, Brendan and Claire Bosse.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Saturday, March 29 at 9 a.m. from the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 151 Village Street in Medway at 10 o’clock. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 – 8 p.m.
