Obituary

Palmina M. “Palmy” Salini, 95 of Medford, died Wednesday in the Woburn Nursing Center, Woburn, MA.

Born in Boston, she lived in Medford since 1969 and formerly of East Boston. She was the daughter of the late Lucia (Corletto) and Giovanni DiGiorgio. Palmina was a Seamstress by profession, but know for her culinary skills. She dedicated her life to motherhood and grand parenting. Beloved wife of the late Americo A. Salini. Devoted mother of Lucille Todisco and her husband Antonio of Winchester, Americo Salini and his wife Jane of Andover, Elizabeth Salini of Medford. Also survived by 6 loving grandchildren and 2 loving great grandchildren. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be sent in Palmina’s name to St. Anthony Shrine, 100 Arch St., Boston, MA 02110 or a Charity of Ones´ Choice.
