Colcord, Margaret G.(Curran), age 78, died on February 15, 2003 at the Aberjona Nursing Home in Winchester. She was the loving wife of the late Arthur Colcord.She was born in Woburn on October 14, 1924, a daughter, of the late Patrick J. Curran and Margaret G. Claugherty. Margaret was a lifelong resident of Medford, employed as a nursing assistant at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital for over 20 years. She was a communicant of St. Raphael’s Church in Medford.She is the loving mother of Elaine Ward of Maine. Devoted sister of Katherine T. Jordan of Medford, John P. Coakley of Malden, Patricia M. Reavy of Salem, New Hampshire and the late Robert P. Curran. Cherished grandmother of Scott Colcord, Eric Bagley and Justin Ward. Dear great-grandmother of Shawn and Brook Colcord. Cherished friend of Francis Markey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.Funeral from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Monday at 8 A.M. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael’s Church, 514 High Street, Medford, at 9 A.M.
