Gilberte Virginie Boutin, 87, of Manchester, died March 24, 2008, at a local healthcare facility.
She was born in Buckland, P.Q., on June 15, 1920, the daughter of Henri and Marie Elise (Fournier) Beland. She was educated in the local school system and had resided in Manchester for most of her life.
She was a longtime parishioner of St. Marie Church and was a member of the Sodality of St. Anne.
She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
Her husband of 63 years, Albert J. Boutin, predeceased her in 2001.
Members of her family include one son, Albert J. Boutin and his wife Fran of Manchester; two daughters, Jeannette Germain of Cranston, RI, and Suzanne Boutin of Tilton, NH; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Therese Paquin and Jeanne d’Arc LeClerc, both of Manchester; nephews and nieces.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Marie Church on Saturday March 29, 2008. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd, Manchester.
