Herman Correia, age 84 of Tiverton. Widower of Alice (Cambra) Correia. Son of the late Joseph & Maria (Souza) Correia. Passed away in Providence March 25, 2008. Born in Fall River & a resident of Warren since 2005, previously of Tiverton. He was a member of Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton. He was a retired fork lift operator for Quaker Fabrics.
He is survived by 1 son: Herman Correia, Jr. of Tiverton; 1 sister: Jovina “Jenny” Fernandes of Fall River; 1 Granddaughter: Crystal & several nieces & nephews. He was brother of the late James & Manuel Correia & Mary Cordeiro.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc 1521 N. Main Friday at 8:45 AM followed by a funeral mass in Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 4-8 PM.
