Obituary

Richard “Dick” Duggan, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 17, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. The beloved husband of fifty-two years to Anna J. (Broughton) Duggan, he was seventy six years old.

Born in Somerville he was the son of the late Julia (Franey) and John Duggan. Raised and educated in Somerville he was a Woburn resident for forty-eight years. A veteran of of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater of Operations.

Dick worked at Polaroid Corp. for over twenty-three years retiring in 1988 to enjoy his grandchildren and fishing.

Surviving are his wife Anna, two sons, Richard of Acton and Timothy of Woburn; Four grandchildren, Wendy, Kelsey, Michael and Corey. He is also survived by a sister Elzabeth Harrington of Hyannis.He is predeceased by four brothers, James, John, Dennis and Edward Duggan and one sister Julia A´Hearn.

His funeral will be from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, on Friday, February 21st at 9 a.m., Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd. Woburn at 10. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.Visiting Hours at the funeral home will be on Thursday from 4 thru 8.
